Digital Content Writer

Position Overview

Our Financial client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Content Writer to join their marketing team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality content for our digital platforms, including blogs, social media, and email campaigns. The goal is to engage our audience and enhance our brand's online presence.

This will be a Hybrid role in Plymouth, MI, starting in the next few weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update website content via CMS (Sanity.io experience preferred, but open to others)
• Create and edit content (articles, blogs, product descriptions)
• Handle image management (upload, resize, optimize)
• Design and layout web pages using CMS templates
• Add meta tags for SEO and schedule content updates
• Collaborate with creative and tech teams to ensure alignment
• Support digital channels outside of social media
• Assist with email marketing and digital newsletters

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CMS experience
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
• Bonus: Adobe Creative Cloud skills, light design/copywriting
• Nice to have: Email marketing experience
• Nice to have: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, PHP
