Structural Steel Project Manager | Mid-Atlantic Region
$90,000 to $120,000 + Car + Bonuses
A growing structural steel fabricator is seeking a Project Manager with expertise in steel fabrication, steel erection, and construction management. You will manage projects across commercial, industrial, civic, cultural, and data center sectors, overseeing work from structural drawings and steel detailing through procurement, fabrication schedules, shop drawings, delivery, and field installation. This role requires hands-on coordination with subcontractors, site supervision, crane coordination, and logistics planning to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-controlled project delivery.
Key Qualifications
5+ years of structural steel project management in commercial or industrial construction
Skilled in reading structural drawings, connection design, steel detailing, and shop/erection drawings
Experience with RFI management, submittals, change orders, estimating, and cost control
Strong knowledge of AISC standards, QA/QC processes, welding inspection, bolted connections, and erection sequencing
Proficiency with BIM coordination, clash detection, Tekla, SDS2, AutoCAD, and Revit
Capable of managing scheduling, scope management, labor management, and subcontractor coordination using critical path method
Familiarity with OSHA compliance, field verification, material tracking, structural inspections, safety meetings, punch lists, and project closeout
