The Microelectronics Product Line performs cutting-edge microelectronics research and development in its Science & Technology (S&T) area and delivers advanced microelectronic products in its three Development & Production areas that advance mission capabilities across commercial and defense applications. We are seeking a summer intern to support our S&T area. The Microelectronics S&T Intern may: + Support Scientists and Technology Development Managers to develop designs and concepts to be utilized for new business pursuits. + Obtain working knowledge of company tools. Perform analyses and compile data for investigation by senior personnel. + Support contract or internal research and development work in microelectronics. + Other duties and responsibilities as required. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed **full-time on site.** This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Registered in and pursuing a technical Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University. + Ability to work well with cross-functional teams. + Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. + Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Previous work experience not required but helpful. + Semiconductor fabrication and testing + Integrated circuit design, implementation, verification, and testing **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $48620 - $67640 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
