Overview

We are looking for talented and motivated Servers with the \hospitality gene\! As a Server at IHOP, you will have the opportunity to serve delicious menu items to our guests and bring smiles to their faces with every bite they take. What will we ask of you?

• Promptly greet and seat guests at clean, sanitary \guest ready\ tables
• Help guests make the right menu choices
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Enter orders into our POS system terminals or tablets
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely fashion
• Follow server banking procedures for processing payments
• Clear, clean, and reset tables and maintain the overall appearance of the restaurant
• Stock and rotate supplies in service areas
• Comply with all safety and sanitation standards
• Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards
• Complete the IHOP Academy Training program

• Understand our systems, safety standards, and operating procedures
• Handle money transactions accurately and responsibly

• Be a team player and contribute to the success of the team
• Thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment

What physically must you be able to do?

These physical demands may be required of you at any time during your employment with us:

• Expect to be on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Carry up to 25 lbs. periodically throughout your shift
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and stretch for cleaning and maintenance tasks
