Long-Term Substitute Teacher (25 days or longer): $ 185 / day
Long-Term Substitute (one semester or longer) - Step 1 PVTA Contract

DUTIES:
Inspire, encourage, and develop young children, each with different abilities, challenges, and personalities. Assist in
the education of fundamental concepts needed for general art understanding through the implementation of well-
planned lessons. Encourage students to develop personal styles and express themselves. Evaluate assignments,
make observations and offer constructive criticism. Grade and maintain records of student performance. Think
creatively, make good decisions, and communicate effectively with others. Work collaboratively with all teachers
within the building and/or district. Prepare materials for lessons. Perform required duties throughout the school day.
Take direction and work as part of a team. Other duties as specified.
QUALIFICATIONS:NYS certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth to Grade 2) or be eligible for certification
