New School Aide's NEEDED for 2026! Pay Rate: $18 - $21 per hour Location: Walnut, CA School Year: 2026 Amergis Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Aide to provide instructional and behavioral support to students in K-12 settings. Under the supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, or designated supervisor, the School Aide assists students with academic tasks, behavioral needs, and personal care. This role may also involve supporting physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: + Provide 1:1 and classroom support for students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance. + Assist with personal care, including diapering and toileting (mandatory) . + Support students with physical mobility and therapeutic needs as directed by specialists. + Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. + Be flexible and comfortable accepting same-day assignments at any K-12 school site. + Transportation may be required for certain assignments. Minimum Requirements: + High School Diploma or equivalent required . + Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice. + Current CPR certification (if applicable). + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable). + Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation). + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age. Position Details: + Schedule: Part-time / PRN hours. + Assignments: 1:1 and classroom instructional aide roles. + Flexibility: Must be comfortable with same-day assignments and traveling to various school sites.
