Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate proficiency in various medical practices. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, performing diagnostic evaluations, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, airway management, and catheterization.
• Manage acute pain and provide hospice & palliative medicine care.
• Utilize EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient records.
• Participate in clinical research and trials to enhance treatment protocols and patient care strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in critical care settings, including ICU and Level I/II trauma centers.
• Provide triage in emergency situations and manage patients in urgent care settings.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
• Engage in health coaching and education for patients regarding their conditions and treatment plans.

Experience
Candidates should have a robust background in various medical fields including but not limited to:

• Emergency medicine, hospital medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and outpatient care.
• Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and medical terminology is essential.
• Experience with data collection and management for clinical research purposes is preferred.
• Prior experience in telehealth services is a plus.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as basic life support certification is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $62.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
