Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Chesapeake. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting in the management of patients with complex pulmonary conditions, and contributing to our mission of improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Assist physicians in managing critically ill patients in the hospital setting.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing and airway management as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately in EMR systems.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment protocols.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options.
  • Stay current with advancements in pulmonary medicine and critical care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Strong background in critical care medicine or related field.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience with telehealth services is a plus.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $109,215.43 - $120,000.00 per year
