Job Description:

Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in beautiful San Diego is seeking Pediatrician, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with pediatric experience to provide direct outpatient care for acute and chronic conditions to patients from birth to early adulthood.

Job duties include:

Duties:

• Provide direct primary care to a culturally and socioeconomically diverse population
• Complete high quality assessments including history and physical exams, make appropriate diagnosis, order and interpret applicable diagnostics, order and integrate specialists evaluations, manage and execute treatment plans
• Coordinate care for medically or socioeconomically complex patients
• Lead care teams of nurses, case manager, medical assistants and other staff to provide excellent care to our diverse population
• Participate in and support quality assurance programs
• Provide mentorship and consultation to junior colleagues

Qualifications:

• Current Provider License in state of California
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (physicians only)
• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
• Current BLS certification
• Bilingual desired
• Basic computer literacy required, experience with EHR desired
