The Role

Donorbox is looking for a Partnership Coordinator to help us strengthen and expand our network of affiliate partners and increase our brand visibility through media sponsorships. In this full-time role, you'll manage essential operations that support both ambassadors and sponsorships. This includes discovering, securing, onboarding, and nurturing partners, as well as identifying, evaluating, and managing the rollout of media sponsorship opportunities such as digital and print ads, publications, podcasts, and event placements.

The focus will be on brand ambassadors who advocate for Donorbox and help us generate indirect revenue as influencers within the nonprofit sector, while also supporting our marketing team through well-executed sponsorship deliverables. As part of the Marketing team, this position will report to the Education and Community Engagement Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support affiliate partners through regular communication, sharing deliverables, providing updates, and ensuring the relationship remains productive and mutually beneficial
  • Measure and report ROI of ambassador program
  • Source and vet prospective ambassadors in alignment with Donorbox's brand, revenue, and community engagement goals
  • Coordinate contracts and payments with payroll and finance
  • Manage onboarding workflow and activate partners quickly and effectively
  • Conduct regular check-ins with ambassadors so they are always aware of the latest Donorbox product developments, resources, and key messages
  • Track ambassador communications and activities within CRM / partner relationship management system
  • Collaborate with Marketing team members to schedule ambassadors for webinars, conferences, local events, and podcast appearances
  • Support Donorbox thought leaders with their participation in partner-led events and podcasts
  • Research and propose multimedia sponsorship opportunities (trade publications, podcasts, conferences)
  • Draft initial sponsorship deliverables such as ad copy, listings, newsletter blurbs, and sponsored emails to provide direction for the Creative team
  • Periodically represent Donorbox at industry conferences and community events, seeking out new partners and/or supporting partner-led events

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years experience in partnerships, business development, community management, or ambassador management
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear copy and give direction to creative teams for sponsorship deliverables
  • Exceptionally organized with an eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional approach across emails, meetings, and phone calls
  • Experience with managing contracts and third-party payments
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and Partner Relationship Management software (Kiflo or similar) is a plus
  • B2B experience strongly preferred
  • A resourceful team player who's adaptable and thrives in a dynamic role
  • Bonus: Professional experience in the nonprofit space, tech startups, or mission-driven brands

Details

  • Fully remote based in the United States (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred)
  • Salary: $65k-78k
