Operations Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $105,000 - $153,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee inventory management and logistics to ensure optimal material flow and minimize stockouts.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling expenditures and driving financial performance.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, including production, supply chain, and quality control.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of team development.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in production planning, budgeting, and cost management within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations, quality management systems, and compliance standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, IoT, Industry 4.0)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Fluency in a second language relevant to global operations or a diverse workforce
