Shift : Nights, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Pay Rate : $65–$70 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in a prestigious teaching hospital located in San Francisco, CA (zip code 94143) . This is a travel nursing assignment offering exposure to high-acuity cases across diverse specialties. The ideal candidate is a confident clinical leader, adept at both scrub and circulate roles, and capable of serving as Charge RN as needed.
Minimum Requirements
License: Active California RN License (Required)
Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
ACLS (Preferred)
CNOR (Preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years RN experience
Minimum 3 years Operating Room (OR) experience (Required)
Travel nursing experience (Required)
Previous Charge RN experience (Required)
Experience in a teaching hospital (Required)
Charting System: Epic (Required)
Key Responsibilities
Perform scrub and circulate duties across a wide range of specialties
Serve as Charge RN during designated shifts, providing leadership and coordination
Ensure compliance with infection control , radiation and laser safety , and emergency protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
Provide one-to-one patient care during surgical procedures
Utilize specialized equipment: Da Vinci Si/Xi robotics , electrosurgical units, Steris systems, and Cell Savers
Safely handle specimens and administer blood products as required
