Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Data Modeling Engineer in our Chantilly VA office in support of our Intelligence Community customer as part of a highly talented highly motivated and high-performing team. As part of the systems engineering team you will be supporting mission integration and user engagement. You will be working with other agencies and industry partners that involves design development integration test and deployment of exciting and complex systems in an Agile construct to contribute to mission success for a variety of stakeholders. What youll do:

• Conduct research in design development testing and utilization of electronic data processing.

• Functions as a part of an analytical team of government and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of customers analytical requirements

• Confer with systems analysts engineers programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities performance requirements and interfaces.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with 5 years of relevant experience Masters degree with 3 years of relevant experience. PhD and 0 years of experience. Additional four (4) years of direct comparable experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree will be considered.
• This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.

• Must be experienced with cloud-based data warehousing specifically the use of the Big Data Platform (BDP)

• Must also have expertise in cloud native data storage services and data warehousing methods

• Must be familiar with SQL and noSQL data storage methods

• Must have the demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in a variety of formats

Target Salary Range

$80000 - $128000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
