Summary:
The Senior Instructional Designer role is responsible for influencing other instructional designers, business partners, and developers in their choice of educational approach. They are also responsible for developing and delivering technologically innovative, engaging learning experiences and support materials based off sound learning principles. You will empower the users of Quest Diagnostics’ customer facing software products as well as internal staff with the skills needed for their successful use. This involves partnering with business stakeholders, product managers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and peers using consulting skills to perform needs analysis, design the solution, select the right delivery option(s), evaluate effectiveness, and support corporate-wide training and communication initiatives. Delivery formats may include instructor led or virtual training, video, eLearning, written communication , simulations, etc... The Senior Instructional Designer should also be able to develop online or print-based instructional materials that adhere to internal style and brand guidelines.
