Title: Feed Mill Operator l Reports to: Feed Mill Manager

Department: Feed Mill Direct Reports: None

Position Hours: Full Time, First Shift FLSA: Non- Exempt

Position Summary: To process all conventional or organic feed orders and ingredients to Herbruck’s strictest quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness around receiving and loading areas.
• Stocking supplies: bag ingredients
• Unloading bag ingredients
• Inventory of bag ingredients
• Any other duties assigned by management.
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse , neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.

• Implement and run the FMS/APEC systems.
• Help to maintain inventory control.
• Perform routine and unexpected maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in weighing of trucks.
• Any other duties assigned by management.
• Ability to comply with the strictest standards for animal welfare and to report incidents of abuse , neglect or breach of biosecurity to preserve the health and welfare of our birds.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Safety courses are up to date.
• Good standing with attendance
• Job observation completion of Feed Mill Operator I
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to work around moving machinery comfortably.
• Working in a farm environment with very dusty conditions
• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors.
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 25 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Safety:

• Follow all company safety rules.
• PPE
• LOTO authorized as assigned.
• Welding/Grinding certification
• Power Industrial Truck certified
