Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) is a core system supporting these functions, and we are seeking an experienced solutions engineer to ensure it continues to deliver high performance and business value.  Position is hybrid and will be based in our Eden Prairie, MN Corporate Headquarters. 

Position Overview

The Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) Solutions Engineer will be the primary technical and functional expert for Dynamics 365 CE at RxFunction. This role is responsible for the design, configuration, development, and maintenance of CE solutions, including integrations with Dynamics 365 Business Central, patient services, and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, hands-on development skills, and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver enhancements that improve productivity and compliance in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and maintain solutions within Dynamics 365 CE to support business requirements.
• Partner with product owners, patient services, sales, and marketing stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that enable business processes.
• Design, build, test, and deploy enhancements, customizations, workflows, and plugins.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, deployment, and support.
• Proactively monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve them to minimize downtime.
• Maintain multiple CE environments (development, test, production) and manage deployments through change management processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations between D365 CE and Dynamics 365 Business Central and other enterprise applications using APIs and middleware tools.
• Provide break-fix support, follow incident management processes, and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
• Document technical designs, development processes, and system configurations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the Dynamics platform, staying current with new features and platform lifecycle updates.
• Work with vendors and partners as needed to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes, DevOps practices, and system administration.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience supporting and enhancing enterprise systems.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Dynamics CRM.
• Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, PowerShell scripting, CSS, and HTML.
• Strong understanding of CE modules supporting sales, marketing, and customer service processes.
• Experience designing and developing integrations using APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with C#/.NET for plugin development and customizations.
• Knowledge of Azure services (Azure AD, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps).
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP integrations.
• Experience with SharePoint, Exchange, or other Microsoft enterprise tools.
• Exposure to compliance-driven environments (HIPAA, FDA, ISO).

Compensation

• Competitive compensation: $100,000–$140,000/year base salary, depending on experience and certifications.
