**Job Title: Commercial Plumber** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber to join our team and contribute to commercial new construction projects throughout the Bay Area. This role offers the opportunity to step in as a foreman or work towards becoming one in the near future. We are looking for journeyman-level plumbers or those with foreman experience to handle private sector projects. **Responsibilities** + Install waste, drain, and vent systems. + Install water lines. + Work with materials such as cast iron, plastic, and copper. + Install various types of valves. + Perform soldering and brazing. + Install insulation and perform system strapping and testing. + Work on underground, rough, or finish plumbing depending on the project stage. + Report to the foreman on site. **Essential Skills** + Experience in piping, construction, and commercial plumbing. + Ability to perform full installations independently. + Journeyman-level commercial plumbing skills. + Leadership qualities to lead teams. + Experience with installation, valves, brazing, waste, drain, soldering, copper, and vent systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Possession of own plumbing and hand tools. + Experience in commercial new construction or tenant improvements. + Desire to lead teams and take initiative. **Why Work Here?** Our company is a well-established commercial plumbing contractor that has been in business since 1991, offering a close-knit family feel with 30 employees. Projects last approximately 1-2 months. You will report to the foreman and work with 2-10 other employees. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, with flexibility required. Employees use personal vehicles for transportation, with mileage reimbursement for additional travel. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
