We're Hiring: Behavioral Health Research Specialist! We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Research Specialist to conduct impactful research that advances mental health understanding and treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience in research methodologies, data analysis, and a passion for improving behavioral health outcomes through evidence-based practices.
Location: Philadelphia, PA
What You'll Do - Complete training to conduct psychological risk assessments
- Administer assessments to tentatively eligible and enrolled participants
- Ensure intervention fidelity by logging session durations, recording detailed field notes, and recording select sessions for review
- Support study activities as needed
- Participate in supervision with clinical psychologist
- Assist with community advisory board feedback and qualitative research (interviews, transcript coding)
What We're Looking For - Bachelor’s degree + 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education/experience in a clinical, research, or behavioral health-related field
- Comfortable working directly with patients/families experiencing psychological or emotional distress
- Willing/able to conduct psychological risk assessments (with training and ongoing support)
- Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills—especially when working with diverse and socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals
- Highly organized
- Strong computer skills
- Preferred: Experience working with community organizations
