We are seeking a responsible and caring individual to join our family as a live-in au pair who can seamlessly blend the roles of caregiver and roommate. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the daily lives of our 8-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl while also contributing positively to the household dynamic. Responsibilities: Childcare: Provide attentive and nurturing care to our 8-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, fostering their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Assist with homework and educational activities. Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times. Household Support: Collaborate with the family to maintain a clean and organized living space. Encourage the children to participate in age-appropriate chores and responsibilities. Prepare simple meals for the family as needed. Companionship and Mentorship: Build a positive and supportive relationship with the children, serving as a role model. Foster open communication and a comfortable atmosphere within the household. Encourage and engage in recreational and social activities with the children. Roommate Dynamics: Respect and contribute to the overall harmony of the household. Communicate openly with the family about any concerns or issues. Participate in occasional family activities and events. Flexibility and Adaptability: Be open to a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends. Adjust to the evolving needs of the family and children. Driving: Responsible for safely driving children to school, to appointments, and back to home.
