**Job Summary**
Android App Tester
**Responsibilities**
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field preferred
Proven experience in functional testing and automated testing of Android applications or mobile software.
Familiarity with Android development tools (Android Studio ADB etc.
Understanding of mobile testing frameworks and automation tools e.g. Appium Espresso
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile experiences
Design and execute functional testing on Android applications to validate that all features and requirements are working as intended.
Test Android applications across various devices operating system versions and network conditions.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and scripts both manual and automated based on project requirements and specifications.
Implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Identify document and track bugs errors and inconsistencies using issue tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues are properly addressed.
Evaluate app performance security and compatibility across different Android platforms.
Provide clear and actionable feedback to stakeholders regarding app quality and user experience.
Continuously update knowledge of the latest Android OS features device trends and testing methodologies.
