School Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Part Time - 3 days per week | Tacoma, WA | 2025–2026 School Year

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate  Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to serve as a 1-1  School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year in  Tacoma, Washington . This is a part-time, in-person 1:1 position serving a student with health needs. Job Highlights:

• Location: Tacoma, WA
• Position: School Nurse (RN or LPN) : 1-1 support for Kindergarten student 
• Schedule: 3 days per week -- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
• Setting: School Setting
• Start Date: ASAP for the 25-26 school year
• Student health needs include: trach/vent, g tube, complex cardiac history 
• In-person only

Qualifications:

• Valid  Washington State RN or LPN license (DOH) or compact
• G-tube and trach/vent experience
• Experience working with medically complex individuals
• Pediatric experience
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
